Where did you grow up?

Bedford, New Hampshire

 

What are your favorite books / TV shows / movies?

The Life of Pi, Siddhartha, and the Alchemist, are great books. I love comedies and my favorite movie would have to be Forest Gump. Right now we are watching the Great British Baking show at my house.

What’s your favorite sport and/or sports team?

I am a Boston Celtics fan and I love basketball!

What led you to pursue a career helping others?

I fell into it when I got a work-study job at the Boys in Girls Club while I was at Boston College. I had so much fun with my colleagues and with students that I haven't looked back since!

 

What education, skills, and expertise do you bring to your role?

I bring a lot of experience working with children in families. From my time at the Boys and Girls Club in Boston, to a year that I lived in Ecuador, to my time working in a group home in Northern California, to my time as a school counselor in the Seattle Public Schools, I have had the opportunity to work with so many great people!

Who/what inspires you?

My family and my faith.

What’s your personal philosophy/approach toward the work you do?

Stay grounded, count your blessings, and always be open to growing as a person.

What is one small thing people can do to improve their lives and increase their happiness?

Do something kind for someone else.
