While both coaching and therapy provide valuable support, they serve different purposes.
Therapists are trained to diagnose and treat mental health conditions, while coaches focus on skill-building, problem-solving, and goal achievement.
Coaching is future-oriented, helping clients develop strategies to improve organization, planning, and follow-through. Therapy often explores the past and present to address emotional and psychological challenges.
Therapists are licensed professionals regulated by governing boards. Coaches come from diverse backgrounds, bringing a range of expertise to their work.
Coaching is typically short-term and goal-focused, while therapy may involve longer-term support.
Before working with any coach, it’s important to review their experience and approach to ensure they’re the right fit for your needs.

Please note: our intake process may vary slightly from location to location.
Cost of Services
Out of Network Provider
Hallowell Todaro is an out-of-network provider and is not currently contracted with any insurance providers, public or private.
In most instances, coaching services are not eligible for reimbursement by insurance as the insurance industry does not recognize coaching as a medical procedure. There is not an official procedure or CPT code for these services.
We recommend contacting your insurance company to confirm out-of-network coverages prior to scheduling.
