Do you sell Hallowell's books there?
We usually keep a small supply of Dr. Hallowell’s books on hand at The Hallowell Todaro Center for sale. The books may be purchased in person.

Which age groups do you treat?
We treat patients of all ages – from 4 to 90! Interestingly enough, many of our adult patients at The Hallowell Center are people who have never previously spoken to, or sought advice from, a professional in the mental health field to help them overcome their challenges.

What does an evaluation involve?
The Hallowell Todaro Center offers several different types of evaluations, depending on your individual needs. All evaluations begin with an in-person, formal initial consultation or intake session conducted by one of our clinicians at The Hallowell Todaro Center. During the intake session, we work to understand your unique challenges and concerns and create a detailed history – including educational, work and relationship experiences, along with a history of individual health, family history, past treatment and developmental history. After listening to and evaluating all of this background information, the clinician may, in some instances, be able to provide a preliminary assessment right away and recommend a customized treatment plan. In other instances, however, the clinician may determine that additional testing is required in order to complete the evaluation process.

How do I get started on an evaluation?
It’s as easy as picking up the phone! Dial 206-420-7345 and ask to schedule an intake appointment for you to come in to The Hallowell Todaro Center to meet with one of our clinicians for a formal intake session. This is the first step in the evaluation process.

What is the cancellation policy?
Due to the heavy demand from our clients, our clinician schedules are tightly booked. As such, please call us immediately whenever you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours advance notice will be charged at the full session fee amount.

Can I set up a payment plan?
Payment plans are available, on occasion, please call and speak with our patient care coordinator.
