Women's ADHD Workshop & Book Group

Where:

This group is hosted online via Zoom.

Who:

All women who are interested in learning more about their ADHD, executive functioning, and becoming their authentic selves are invited to attend. Women anywhere (not limited to Seattle!) who are seeking to deepen their understanding of their experience of ADHD, would like to share or learn from other’s experiences, and/or would like to feel a sense of community with other women and support each other in building self-concepts and self-expression would be great fits for this group!

Cost:

$280 for 8 sessions (workbook not included)

About:

Many women with ADHD struggle with confidence and empowerment due to their invisible (and/or hidden) struggles and social messages about roles, expectations and success. This ADHD women’s group provides helpful content, exploration and group support to empower participants to:

  • learn more about their ADHD

  • better understand executive function challenges and strengthen EF skill sets

  • set ADHD-friendly goals

  • expand their ADHD community by sharing experiences and ideas with other women

Book: For his installment of the group, we’ll use “Managing ADHD Workbook for Women: Exercises and Strategies to Improve Focus, Motivation, & Confidence” by Christy Duan MD, Kathleen Fentress Tripp PMHNP-BC, and Beata Lewis MD.

About Kinnavey

As an ADHD and Executive Function Coach, Kinnavey Cunningham (she/her) works with children, youth and adults to develop and apply systems and strategies to achieve their goals, and to build their sense of competence and confidence. She employs a strengths-based approach, cooperatively finding the best tools and strategies for each individual, while assisting them in gaining greater self-awareness and self-management. Kinnavey has worked creatively and collaboratively with a wide range of neurodivergent minds for over 15 years, having earned her bachelor of science degree in psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before moving to Seattle and training at the University of Washington Autism Center in applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy. Kinnavey is committed to continued professional development and education, including pursuing certification in educational therapy through the University of California-Riverside. When she is not focusing on work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, camping, gardening, and trying new recipes, crafts or other creative outlets.
