Where: Online via Zoom
Who: The course is catered to learners, whether they be neurodivergent or neurotypical, who are between the ages of 5 and 11 (students who are 12 are also welcome if they are interested in joining or if they have a younger sibling in the class, etc.), and helps students to strengthen and hone essential Executive Functioning skills while having fun!
What: 5 live meetings hosted via Zoom + multiple “Take-Home Tool” resources
Cost: $175 total per learner for the 5-session course (max 8 learners per course)
About this Group
In this five-week course, students will develop and improve their Executive Function skills with the help of their favorite Disney characters. The class will incorporate Disney characters and stories to help students improve their skills in learning new information, remembering and retrieving the information they've learned in the past, and using that information to solve problems in everyday life.
Through various activities and games, this class will initiate a positive growth mindset in students as they master planning, organizing, and managing time and space, all while having fun in a fresh and engaging environment!
The critical Executive Function skills we will cover in this course are as follows:
Planning/prioritizing (with an understanding of "important" vs. "urgent")
Organization
Time Management
Task initiation
Working memory
Self-monitoring (metacognition)
Flexibility
Impulse control
Emotional control
The structure of each 30-minute class will be as follows:
Three brand-new brain-building games
Two mini-lessons on how to apply the EF skills from our brain-building games to our daily lives
Review of the 'Take-Home Tool' and how to use it

Kelsey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Psychology from Florida State University.
