About Our Homework Club
Held at our center in Seattle, this homework club for high school and middle schoolers is a fantastic way to stay accountable, complete school work, and develop lifelong executive function skills. It’s available on a drop-in basis; you’re welcome to sign up for a single session or pay for all sessions upfront.
Students will come prepared with laptops and homework assignments and work for 75 minutes, followed by a 15-minute social / snack break (or students might choose to use the entire session to do academic tasks).
The group facilitator, Mary Sanford, will float around the room and facilitate questions, offer encouragement and cheerleading, and occasionally give a mini-lesson on study skills strategies.
Mary has taught study skills for more than ten years. She is skilled at supporting students’ academic needs while helping them develop their executive function skills and gain confidence.
This group has been cancelled due to low enrollment.
