New Hallowell Todaro Center To Open in Palo Alto in January 2020
We're excited to announce the opening of a new, full-service ADHD treatment center in Palo Alto on January 21, 2020. The center will provide therapy and coaching for kids and adults with ADHD, as well as other neurological conditions.
In addition to therapy and coaching, the center will offer a range of wraparound services, including academic support (tutoring and test prep), parent education, ADHD support groups, and educational webinars on topics like executive function, screen use, and working memory.
Co-founders Dr. Edward Hallowell and Lesley Todaro are thrilled to be bringing their strength-based approach to the area in response to a growing need for comprehensive ADHD support.
“So many people still have misconceptions about how ADHD works and the best ways to treat it,” said Co-Founder Lesley Todaro. “ADHD is a neurological condition—most often genetic—that affects males and females of all ages. When managed properly, it can actually be a gift. People with ADHD are often highly creative, intelligent, charismatic and talented. Our team in Palo Alto will help people manage the hurdles so that they can unwrap these gifts.”
Hallowell Todaro Palo Alto has two special events scheduled in advance of opening day: a talk by Dr. Hallowell on January 16, and a party at the center on January 17. Both events are open to the community and free of charge. See details below.
