About This Group

Executive function skills are the brain based skills that help us manage everyday life and get things done. For many neurodivergent women, these skills can be surprisingly inconsistent. Something that feels easy in one situation may be much harder in another, depending on factors like the task itself, our environment, energy, stress, or level of interest.

Because modern life asks so much of us, this variability can have a real impact on work, relationships, responsibilities, and day-to-day living.

This group is an opportunity to better understand how our brains work, explore key executive function skills, discover strategies that can make everyday life a little more manageable, and connect with other women who understand the experience.

Group Format

Each month, we’ll focus on one executive function theme through two connected meetings:

  • The first meeting (1st Wednesday of the month) will explore a particular executive function skill — what it looks like in everyday life and how it may show up for you.

  • The second meeting (3rd Wednesday of the month) will continue the conversation through a related "hot topic", resource, or practical area of interest.

Each session will be led by the group facilitator, who will introduce the topic, offer research-informed context and practical ideas/resources, and help guide the conversation. Throughout, there will be opportunities to share experiences, compare notes, brainstorm strategies, and learn from one another. Jump into the conversation, share what's working (or not working) for you, or simply listen and reflect — whatever feels right. This group is an opportunity to set aside some time for yourself, whether that's your lunch hour, a break in your workday, or simply a moment in your week to pause and connect.

Expect practical tools and resources throughout — and bring your own. Favorite books, podcasts, apps, tools or topics you’d like the group to explore are always welcome.

Can’t make a session or two? No problem; all sessions will be recorded and shared through an online portal along with suggested resources, so you can catch up when it works for you.

Come as you are. Participate as much or as little as feels right. Learn something, share something, and connect with other women who understand the experience.
