Wednesdays, 5 pm- 6 pm Pacific  (8 pm - 9 pm Eastern)

Where:

This group will be hosted on Zoom.

Who:

Adults with ADHD and/ or their neuro-typical loved ones such as friends and/ or partners. These sessions will provide opportunities for small and large group discussion, resource sharing, and connection with other neurodiverse individuals. You do not have to be an existing Hallowell Todaro client to attend.

Cost:

$320 for eight live sessions


About the Group

This 8-week adult ADHD group will provide helpful content, strategies, and group support around the following topics:

  1. Definitions and experiences of ADHD, 

  2. Executive Function and Motivation, 

  3. Self Care and Healthy Habits, 

  4. ADHD-Friendly Goal Setting, 

  5. Hacks and Workarounds for ADHD, 

  6. Overcoming Challenges & Self Acceptance, 

  7. Managing Relationships, 

  8. Communication Skills and Resilience

Each session will include mini-presentations followed by group discussions taking place in breakout rooms.

About Mary Sanford, PHD

Mary Sanford is an executive functioning coach educator with a wealth of experience coaching diverse learners of all ages. She’s worked with individuals and groups to help them discover their strengths while boosting their confidence and competence. Mary has taught executive functioning, academic skills, and reading /language arts strategies to children, youth, and adults. She has a knack for bringing out each person’s gifts in a strength-based approach that values and supports their uniqueness. Mary cherishes the possibilities within each person and strives to help her clients discover their incredible gifts.

Mary has a B.S. in Special Education, grades K-12 and an M.Ed. in Learning Disabilities and Literacy, both from Bloomsburg University. Her Ph.D. is in Adult Education from Syracuse University where she focused on the learning challenges of second career adult learners. She recently had her first textbook published, Teachers as Thinkers: Compassion and Competence in the Classroom. When she is not working, Mary enjoys traveling, baking, feeding her friends and family, and hanging out with her hilarious Golden Doodles Gracie and Mabel.
